The Type 3 is an exclusive vintage 1930’s style design inspired by trench watches that came into use by the military during WW1 because pocket watches were not practical for combat. This watch was a transitional design between a pocket watch and a wrist watch. The Kingsley Type 3 Trench Watch was designed to feel like a pocket watch mounted on a leather bomber jacket strap. Featuring a raised green edge crystal similar to a vintage military green glass canteen.

The Type 3 model was designed and assembled in Providence RI and is the Quartz alternative to the the Type 2 Vintage Automatic pilot’s watch. We use movements from one of the worlds best Swiss movement manufacturers (ETA). Made for the aficionado looking for a unique high quality precision watch that doesn’t require any manual winding and less overall maintenance over time. 

The hand made nature of some of the straps, parts and watch cigar boxes means no two watches are exactly the same. This case was created as a “Prototype” series of 100 pieces and has been uniquely engraved with a “Prototype” marking on the case back. Each is accompanied by a certificate of Authenticity.
